47 years on from the original Fatal label release (and 46 years after its last physical release) comes a 21st century reissue of the iconic 7” (I’m) Stranded by Australian proto-punks The Saints.

Manufactured originally at Astor Records Melbourne and received by guitarist Ed Kuepper on August 2nd 1976 in Brisbane the limited run of approx. 530 copies of (I’m) Stranded were split up and sent variously to overseas music publications, a handful of Australian shops plus Rough Trade London and Greg Shaw’s Bomp mailorder USA.

What happened next is history and paved the way for three of the the greatest albums not just of the era but any era; (I’m) Stranded (’77), Eternally Yours (’77) and Prehistoric Sounds (’78).

Proudly presented by Los Angeles record label In The Red (Osees, Ty Segall, Sparks, Kid Ciongo)  the 2023 7” edition of (I’m) Stranded appears in a limited run of 2000 copies across three different coloured vinyl versions and three different sleeves using the original 1977 UK, USA and Netherlands artwork.

But wait, there’s more; in addition to the single reissue comes the first ever official merch line from the original line-up of The Saints. Three designs across two t-shirts and a hoodie open the collection and feature Ed Kuepper’s original hand-painted logo, the Fatal label 7” design and the rear sleeve graphic of Savage Pencil as featured on the 7” UK release (I’m) Stranded.

Available in all sizes and all cuts the collection will also be made available locally in the UK via Wax Face Toys, in the USA via In The Red Records and in Australia via Artist First.

Pre-order now for shipping on August 2nd.

JAY ADAMS -1978 (MADE TO ORDER)
£100.00

Glen Friedman photograph of JAY ADAMS knocking the coping out of its place at a back yard barging session in West Los Angels in the spring of ‘78. Attitude, Aggression and Style exemplified in the photograph as well as the incredible color has always made this a favorite. This photo was the lone skateboarding image on the cover of FUCK YOU HEROES, it appeared in that book, and first appeared in the 1st ever SkateBoarder magazine photo annual in B&W, and more recently as huge and as beautifully presented as ever in the MY RULES book.

Glen E. Friedman image of JAY ADAMS, This limited edition GICLEE print is printed on exceptional ‘Hahnemuhle FineArt Baryta a-Cellulose Bright White High Gloss archival paper’ 325 gsm (18’’ x 24’’ / A2). Limited edition of 500 prints, numbered and signed on back by Glen E. Friedman.

RUN DMC and JAM MASTER JAY -1985. (MADE TO ORDER)
£100.00

Glen E. Friedman photograph of RUN-DMC and JAM MASTER JAY ... 1985 in the arcade on the Santa Monica Pier. This photograph is so fucking cool on so many levels to me. First of all the group of course, and this was probably during their first visit to L.A. i hung out with them. An arcade location in and of it self is bad ass, as kids we used to love hanging out in these places, before there was such a thing as video games, the experience was much more physical and fun in a whole different way. The fact we were on my home turf, at the time, in Santa Monica just a stones throw from the original Zephyr shop and DogTown skate lore central, also is great to me.The original photograph similar to this, not this middle finger out-take, first appeared in one of the earliest crossover HipHop articles in a RockNRoll publication, on a huge spread (BAM magazine) then years later in my book FUCK YOU TOO, it’s also in the MY RULES book, but most definitely in the book TOGETHER FOREVER, both versions of this photo appear, with all of my best Run and Beastie Boys photographs all featured in one place. (It surprises me how many people were dying for this book to come out, and in the end not that many of you actually went out and got it!) I only shot two frames here so we wouldn’t get caught and thrown out, not exactly allowed to just stand on the SkeeBall machine.
